google translate - Text to Speech (Speech Synthesis) in minority languages -


i text speech (tts) in languages not supported services such ibm watson tts or bing speech api, including amharic, zulu, swahili, lozi , other african languages.

google's speech api supports large number of languages speech recognition (i.e. speech text) - including amharic, zulu, , swahili - there seems no api equivalent speech synthesis, apart undocumented part of translate api google seems discourage people using. browser-based speechsynthesisutterance api supports major european , world languages.

what google's roadmap providing cloud-based speech synthesis supports same languages speech recognition api? there other services more extensive language support?
